Ok so me and a few of the guy on the TF2 server and we believe that our server that we know and love is under constant trolling. And we have used the Adminalert and we are unable to get any admins on. earlier today some guys had a sentry shooting into the melee room and i did a few adminalert and after the third or fouth i had no choice but to take action againist them. but thats a different story. anyway it took about a half hour to get the situtation under control and destory the sentry. My point is the admins in my opinion need some sort of shift organization. and i think you should add that1dude to the admins cause he is active and could deffinatly take care of it. Im not saying your aren't doing a good job. i just think something must be done even if you don't add admins. ives tried to make videos. another thing is you should add replay so we can record the acts. but this is just me. im not saying this to piss people off. i just hate to see people trolling and ruining everyones fun.
You never even tries messaging an admin directly? I was asleep for the past couple of hours due to not having any sleep for about 3 days. Sorry about what happened.

Dude, admins don't give shit about !adminalert. Just take 5 seconds to type them a message on Steam. If you wanna know why they don't care about !adminalert, it's because all these fucking 12 year olds are backseat moderating.

Well, thanks to that chicken-shit that those damn squeakers thinking that they can fucking ban anyone because there is an option to do so. Wow, I 'm fucking pissed off because I've only had 2 hours of sleep in 2 DAYS.

And plus, after those 12 year old started thinking that they can ban anyone because they're so fucking retarded, I had to spam !adminalert 15 fucking times to get an admin on here, and what happened? got fucking gagged and that fucking dipshit that can't read damn English in the melee got off scot-free.
It's hard to do any sort of shifts since more then half of the staff works and lives in the same time zone, we have lives like everyone else. Now it's no excuse, but we can't keep watch all day there are always going to be holes in the shifts. Recently it has been more organized, but there will always be room for improvement. One of our most major problems is the lack of key plugins to keep the server running smoothly for everyone. There are plugin developers out there that haven't updated their plugins for over a year and change which kills server owners that need them to keep peace in game.
As for adminalert it there to be used once or twice within a few minutes. Static especially has a bad connection to the internet right now so you need to give it time to show up on his end, and spamming it will not help you because it's harassment. He does all of this for free for the community, just like everyone else here. It's things like this that make server owners shut down their servers because they get harassed.
I've always said on other communities and servers if you don't want to listen to a player mute them on your side, send a message to the owner or admin, and let them handle it from there. No need to go crazy there is always a solution to every situation so think for a minute before you act.

I used to have admins years ago form the Europe and North America to cover our servers, but these were NY based servers so that everyone could have a low ping. From recent news this server is west coast, how our system got there is unknown to me, but that's to far for anyone in Europe to have a good ping. Static and I would have better pings and we're tethering to our cell phones 4G service.
I'm not sure if Static asked to be moved to an east coast location so we can grab a few people form the UK at least, but I can't speak for him or speak for the host since I do not directly deal with them.
In time things will be fixed, but even like myself and some of the other staff and administrator need to wait to see what happens since we can't just force people to make things work our way. If we had everything form the start it would be easy, but that is not the world we live in. We are trying our best to make due with what we have and add what is needed as we go we are not fortunate like some of these kids out there today.
Even my original community didn't have it easy in the first year back in 99. I started with a box in my house to run not 1 but 3 different servers. It wasn't easy due to the massive usage of my internet connection and the intensive server operations. Just in that first year I think I rebuilt that server more then 10 times before I got it right and everything running smoothly. I even restructured my staff multiple times just to handle things better based on their knowledge and taught those who had the potential to do an even better job.
Anyway it's late and I have more projects to work on after I wake up so I will continue this conversation later.

It requires plugins that are not updated to work with the current server software.
As for the trolls it's to be expecting on a free game, they are kids and by the sounds of it they live on 4chan.

Its not that we don't care, its just that most adminalerts are for people shooting in the melee room and that is almost always happening. Its very annoying to stop what im doing to come in the game to kick or ban someone for it all the time.
while on the subject of the melee room. a certain admin had the red team in the blu rec room. it didnt really effect us much but i thought i would let you all know.
