Hey so I've noticed a few people from the clan playing warframe and I'm not exactly one to go to the official forums and look for a squad for this new updates event, so i was wondering if anyone needed or wanted to help out with the shield and power core missions. I've the power core but haven't gotten past that yet and its slightly out of my league to do solo.

Also as a side note, since we do have a few people playing i was wondering if you guys were in a clan or wanted to make a clan. Lots of perks come with the clan stuff, and I would love to play with a few familiar names!

So for the past 6 or 7 months I have been out of a computer, and until now haven't been able to get on and play much games or be active in the community. But im Back! I cant wait to finally get back to minecraft and now that I have a new computer playing other games I wasn't able to before (like tf2) If you want to know the specs you will have to tell me how to find them...Im a software guy, not hardware xD

Unfortunatly, my laptop finally pooped itself for the last time. Since this was my main computer, I will be on temporary leave until I can either fix it or get a new one. I do still have access to my family computer, but since everyone in my house uses it , my being able to use it would be a rare occurance. As for my ftb server, ive been keeping backups on an external hard drive, so when I get the files transported everyone will still be able to play.

I hope this doesn't take too long, but for now I wish everyone a good time in my absence.

Okay, so I have some experience hosting servers before (not that silly hamachi crap, but an actual server). Also, I did happen to get a decent desktop computer for the holdays. So I was wondering what the clan thought of if I were to dedicate my old laptop to a Feed the Beast server for the clan.

Now some basics things should be kept in mind, sort of like rules; Explosions would be turned off, quarries would have to be approved so you dont accidentally dig out the bottom of someones house, and finally the server would be on a whitelist. Of course all of the other rules apply. Also, just keep in mind, it might not exactly be a 24/7 server, my laptop would probably and litterally melt under that kind of stress, but for the most part it would be kept up.

Anyway, what do you all think?

Not sure if anyone else here plays or has played Planet Side before, but now that its out and free to play I have started playing. It is a huge multiplayer game, with three teams to chose from for which you fight the opposing two teams to take control the planet. Maybe if others play we can start a UA clan for it. Anyone interested?

I know me and a few others were looking forward to this release, but finally the wait is over: Feed the Beast minecraft mod pack is now available.

For those of you who don't already know, Feed the Beast is sort of like Tekkit, but with many more mods and fully endorsed by the mod creators themselves (whereas Tekkit did not). FTB has its own launcher, so downloading and installing is a piece of cake, and it is fully functional for multiplayer. Anyone who wants to check it out, here is a link to the sight.

For some reason Valve just gave me 3 copies of Dota 2 to give away, and I also just realized that I've got an extra copy of Magicka laying around in my inventory. So I was wondering who all doesn't have either of these games, I might give them away as gifts or I might use them as rewards for clan events or something. Not to be completely off topic or anything (glad there's a thread for this sort of thing xD) but it turns out that Disney has just bought Lucas Films and the title of Star Wars, and has scheduled the release of Star Wars Episode 7 to be in 2015. George Lucas will be the creative consultant for the new films, stating "It's now time for me to pass 'Star Wars' on to a new generation of filmmakers." Think of it what you will...

Minecraft 1.4 is officially out, and in the update Mojang added in quite a few new tools for the creation and development of custom maps. Customized  spawners and spawn locations to a whole new block just for red stone activated commands. I have always wanted to create a map, and have worked on a few small projects of the sorts, and had the idea of creating an Adventure map based off of the clan. Some of the things I thought of having were Custom enemies to act as bosses that the player would have to "assassinate" or otherwise kill, and also include clan member npc's and builds to emulate our rpg world. Right now this is just an idea, (though I am as we speak working out some of the concepts) and would like to know if anyone would be interested in having Clan adventure map. I also want to know if i can have permission to use some players gamer tags (say one character in the map would be named Chipawok, ect...) If you would like to see your name or character possibly make its way into an adventure map, please let me know in this thread.

Also if anyone has any other ideas to add to the concept, please share. I would love to incorporate it into a map

I could have sworn I already made a post about this, but nevertheless... Our minecraft world needs Tekkit. Tekkit may be one of the greatest modpacks ever to be created, containing not only build and industrial craft, equivalent exchange and many other mods, but it has its own easy to use launcher for both client and server. If it weren't for my shit laptop, I would be completely willing to host a server, but unfortunately I am unable to. I strongly suggest that the UA have a Tekkit server or world already on our rpg server. I know that I would spend quite a bit of time building factories unattainable in our basically vanilla game. The pack also contains a store system as well, so if we get it we could have a sort of economy system that I know I have been looking forward to for quite some time.

Hopefully other members agree with this, I for one would greatly look forward to this being an addition to the game.

I'm sure that there are still a few people out there that love Pokemon, or at least did growing up. Anyway I just happened across a very well polished Pokemon mmo. You are able to play the game like you would normally, but instead of playing it alone now you can do so in real time with a bunch of other people. You are able to trade and battle Pokemon with anyone on the server, as well as play with friends. I for one have been looking forward to something like this since I was really young, I hope everyone else finds it interesting.

Currently the game requires a Rom of Fire Red, but it is also compatible with Heart Gold as well as Soul silver. I take it that they will eventually add all of the regions so you can catch any and all the Pokemon out there. (Keep in mind that this game is still in alpha, so of course there are a few bugs and such. Being so early in development I find it to be quite well made)

For anyone who doesn't know, Forsaken World is a free to play MMORPG game off steam. I have started playing recently, and I must say it's a spectacular game and as far as free to play titles go, this one may be my most favorite. Like most other mmo's, there are party and guild based quests and events. I wanted to know if there were any other people in the clan that played, mabey we could form a clan guild, so that anyone who is in the clan could join.

So earlyer on the minecraft rpg server, me and a few other players were discussing mods, some of which we were hoping to see added into the server.  Is it possible to add other mods into the server, without lossing all of our current progress? And if so, what sorts of mods are aloud, like Flans Planes mod, or equivillent exchange, and others or do the mods have to have some form of specific add on nessesarry to be added to the serve (aka bukkit/spout)?

The minecraft creative server seems to have been hit by a heavy load of greifing.  I was not on for the past two or so days, it my have already been discussed.  Even still, the extent of the damage seems too much for it to be just for fun, many great builds have been destroyed entirely.  I might be worrying for nothing but none the less, will an admin check this out. To find it, just use a map, its plane to see, if not, go towards where the giant pyramid use to be...

I've seen some pretty amazing speed builds on minecraft, and i was wondering, why not make one myself?  I can't run a server and fraps at the same time, lag issues and all, so i was wondering if i could use an area on the creative minecraft server to do so.  Any help in the building process would be great and is much needed, all members of the build will get full credit in the video with links to their youtube channel is desired.  It would be even better to get a majority of the server community in on this as well, making it a community project. That and it would make a great addition to the server's overall look, making it all the better.

Even though I may still be new to the clan, I do care about it and its members. Over the past week or two, the survial minecraft server has experienced a large amount of greif.  In order to limit the amount of greifing, I would like to suggest a few changes to who and how you let people into the server.  First, I think that a white-list would help save the trouble of unwanted, unknown gamers and possible greifers from gaining access to the server. Also, someone should be in charge of making and taking apllications (can be part of the clan joining aplication), so we would know the intent of the people joining the game. Possibly even hold a carefully watched intiation system, where new people would be acompanied by an exsisting member for a set time, just to keep an eye on that new person. We do already have a regular group on the server, people who you can always find online, but I think, for future protection, that these extra safty precations should be followed in order to maintane a fun and safe gaming environment.
