Welcome back, Chipawok. We do have a vanilla minecraft server that is on 1.6.2. Not many are playing on it at the moment. I also have a Terraria server if you have that game. Just let me know if you want to play on it as it's white listed.

Terraria has updated to 1.2 and I have noticed that several of you are playing. I have a small 6 slot multiplayer server for anyone who is interested in playing. I'm not comfortable posting the IP here so anyone interested in playing on it either send me a PM here or a message on Steam. Starting with a new character would be appreciated however I'm not going to be a stickler about this. Just use your best judgement.  The only real rule I have is to just play nice and fair.

Just wanted to give a quick update. The server has been updated to the latest release and TShock has been installed. Anyone who wishes to play needs to contact me with your ip so I can add you to the whitelist.

It might be over powered but that is the run of my dreams. I say that because I can't seem to get past catacombs2. Yeah I suck at this game.

Usually when I come upon a fire I put it out. The only good point about these fires is that they do light up the landscape at night. Bad point is that I'm bad about accidentally walking into them xD

Oh wow that sounds awesome.  We had someone at one time who was working on a script for us but that has apparently been abandoned.  What about adding some missions to it?

Do you have team viewer? Maybe someone can see what's going on using team viewer.

I have Windows 8 as well and it does have it's schizophrenic moments. Another thing you can try is to move your current .minecraft folder to your desktop and download a new instance.

I'm using Creeperhost. They do the same thing as your host with the 1 click mod install so it's super easy. The configs are even already taken care of so all the mods work seemlessly together.  When adding mods manually instead of with a pack you can run into block id conflicts which are easy to fix but a pain.

I currently have a private feed the beast server and have been really enjoying it. I'd love to see us have one of those if at all possible. Nuro, if your familiar with this host maybe you can help out as well. I know that the host I use has the different ftb modpacks available such as Direwolf20's and Ultimate, etc. It might work at bit different with this host. I do know that there is a beta pack for 1.5.2 currently which was just updated today. Now whether this pack is available for servers I don't really know. More than likely it is. If anything I agree with the suggestion you gave nuro plus any other mods that are of interest to others. I do know that working with a modpack just seems to be easier than installing mods one at a time unless one is using multimc. McMMO I'm not that familiar with as I have been using the default commands that come with a vanilla modded server.  Thus far I have not had any issues as the people who have played on my server have been people I know. If Static doesn't have the time right now then maybe you and I can come up with something together.

Do you know if the host has Feed the beast?  The reason I ask is because Feed the Beast has different modpacks available. Now at the present time there is only a beta modpack for 1.5.2. The devs are still testing mods and are still waiting for a couple mods to be updated before they release the different modpacks. Chances are they are waiting for 1.6 which should be available in a couple months or so. My recommendation would be to wait until these modpacks are updated and available before adding mods. This makes adding mods so simple.

Welcome and glad to see you here. We have a tf2 server and several are playing DC Universe. We use to have a Minecraft server but don't have one at the moment. We have a ventrilo server that is hardly used as we have pretty much been using Skype. Hope you enjoy your stay.

When I was admining servers with SG we were expected to moderate and not really play. My advice would be to play and have fun and only moderate if necessary.

The best advice I can give is don't let the power go to your head. Take your time observing what is going on. Think before reacting. And if your unsure ask a manager

We may not be active on the forum but we are far from dead. People do still play Tf2. Also, check out DC Universe Online. Mega and some of the others play this and have a guild set up and is adding this to our list of games being played. Hopefully soon we can have a Minecraft server. Also, most of the chat has moved to Skype. If you have that and want to chat I'm sure you can be added to the call.

Dapeep, are you talking about your Steam account and/or your UA account. If it's just your Steam account be forewarned that he could do something to get you vac banned. If your vac banned you will have a hard time finding servers to play on. If it's your UA account then that really troubles me. The only person who should have access to your UA account is you and you alone. People who are not in the clan have no business having access to clan areas of the forum.  I don't care if they are your girlfriend or your mother's cousins' dog twice removed that you completely trust. They just have no business being able to access clan areas.  We have an individual who lurks around trying to find out anything and everything that comes from UA in order to make some people's lives a living hell. That is why only clan members can access most of the forum and visitors have very little access. I seriously advise you to not let others have access to your account.

That sucks about your computer. I do know for certain that you can build a fairly decent gaming rig for about $300-$400. I like to buy from Newegg. Look for sales. Sometimes they run sales on bundles. Amazon is also a good place to get parts. Now the question is do you prefer AMD or Intel or Nvidia. AMD tends to run cheaper

For the time being the Minecraft server is going to be down. Like I said in the announcement we are looking at getting a modded server through a host. I currently have a modded minecraft server and I must say I'm very impressed. Dragon has played on it and it's what he has in mind for a server. Cold Assassin has paid for us to have web hosting for the forum for the year so we are good.

Many of you may not know this but DragonMaster moved within the past month. At the current time he doesn't have access to internet so therefore will not be around. The server for Minecraft and the forum has been housed at Cold Assassin's house. Sometime possibly this weekend or during the coming week the Minecraft server and forum will be shutdown and the files transferred over to Dragon. Since Dragon doesn't have access to internet the forum and the Minecraft server will be down for a period of time. Chances are when the server is back up and running it will not be on the current world that is being used. Our server has been a Bukkit server with lots of different plugins. Bukkit is notoriously slow at updating which is frustrating for everyone.  We are looking at going with a modded server using a Feed the Beast modpack. The managers would like to know what you guys think about this change in our minecraft server. For those who use mods what are your favorites? We are currently looking at using the Direwolf20 modpack. It is possible to add extra mods to this pack with relative ease.

Since the forum is going to be down for indeterminate period of time a Facebook page has been set up so any information can be release. We are also going to set up a Twitter account. If anyone can think of another social media site we can set that up as well. So far as I know Ventrilo will still be running. There is also Skype for chatting as well which many of us use.

I just want to thank everyone in advance for your patience at this time. UA is still very much up and running and in no danger of shutting down anytime soon.
