  • Fixed the bug that caused the players EXP level to revert to 0 again after The End credits is finished from Beta 1.9Pre 6
  • The full names of Scaevolus and Hippoplatimus are now used in the ending credits.
  • You can now talk while entering a portal in SMP
  • Obsidian's mining time was increased to 8 seconds from ~3 seconds in 1.9pre6.

  • Drowning sounds are the same as Fall Damage.
  • Portals (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Portals) have the old, non-smooth lighting prior to Beta 1.8.
  • Seeds around water will randomly disappear.
  • Fishing rods (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Fishing_rod) will get damage in creative mode.
  • Heart animation won't appear in breeding mode
  • Fence gate's hitbox still occupies the whole cube.
  • Double Wooden Doors open very strangely.
  • Rails can't be switched by near redstone torch, 1 block should be skipped and place torch there (applies even vertically).

I read that if you put a torch under a dragon egg, it crashes the game.  This may be a not-yet-implemented incubation system.

You never know, would be nice to get the dragon back after killing him.
